Davie Tennis Stadium (198 Oak Road) is situated on the site of the former Piedmont Paving Company quarry.  It was given to the City of Oakland in 1931 by former mayor John L. Davie and his family. Mayor Davie announced this stadium project idea in 1921, though the property was not actually given to Oakland until 10 years later.

At Davie Tennis Stadium, we pride ourselves on providing a wide variety of tennis programs for various ages, skills and interest. Our 5 courts are well maintained and open to the public. Reservations are recommended but not required. Our tennis programs include adult private and group lessons, after-school classes, and spring and summer camps. We focus on helping players set and achieve new goals. Our staff is patient, dedicated, professional and committed to tennis.
