Summer 2021: Junior Advanced Camp

This camp is for junior players ages 10-16 who are competing in USTA Novice or higher junior tournaments and/or are playing High School tennis (JV or Varsity). The camp will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

Coaches: John Sharpe, Marc Weinstein

Cost: $120 (Oakland residents)

Davie Fest: an Oakland Tennis Benefit

Davie Fest featured Oakland-native Brad Gilbert, former world #4 and coach to Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick – and included an exhibition doubles match, a clinic with Brad Gilbert as well an opportunity to hit against him, hit-for-prizes sponsored by Dunlop, Babolat, and Wilson, live music, and a VIP cocktail reception.

Net proceeds from the day will be used to upgrade Oakland's tennis facilities in preparation for the 2014 National Public Parks Tennis Championship and fund free tennis programs for underserved Oakland youth in honor and memory of Mark Manning, long-time East Oakland tennis coach.
